Made this sweet little horsey lovey for a friend's daughter. She hasn't seen it yet, but I'm fairly confident that she won't be interested in surfing my site in between toddles, chasing the cats and climbing the furniture.
The horsehead and hooves were crocheted with Lily Sugar N' Cream 100% cotton in the Chocolate ombré colorway, and edged out in Espresso. I used the same Chocolate ombre doubled with Canan Baby acrylic to create the pentagon shaped blankie. The mane was crocheted with a series of chains, looped and slip stitched a few times; tail is just fringe. Mane and tail are fun fur yarn.
This was a fun little project. I hope the little girl it's intended for likes it as much as I do!
