Essential Oils Revolution Summit - FREE to participate

Something you may or may not know about me is that I am a HUGE essential oils advocate, and I want to share with you an awesome opportunity to join The Essential Oils Revolution Summit! You have got to check this out! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!
REGISTER to Attend Here
In my home, essential oils are used for almost everything - shampoo, body wash, laundry, air freshener, massage, toothpaste, deodorant, cough suppressant, bug repellant... The list goes on and on! Essential oils come directly from our Earth (plants, flowers, resins, etc) just as nature intended. No nasty and potentially life-threatening chemicals here! Besides the awesomeness of using naturally produced products in my home, it's so much cheaper!

For the Manly Neck

Created this one for my hubby with the idea in mind I had to do something different than the average chain across the back of the neck. He's a bit of a beast, my hairy man, so most anything tends to pull and snag his fur ;-)  So, here's what I came up with for him...

Starburst Slouchy Cap

An interesting texture came out of working with stitches trying to recreate an entirely different pattern based on a photo. This is actually the "wrong" side but really looks like it should be the right side so here ya go...

Playing with Wire

I've been toying with wire wrapping recently, and...well... let's just say I have lots of practice ahead of me. This single Jasper pendant didn't turn out too bad, even though it took several tries before I got it to look this good.
Jasper wrapped in copper-plated brass wire

I kinda cheated with the longer connections by wrapping a simple ring on either side of the collections and connecting them with pre-made chain links. Hey, it's practice!

Horse-head Lovey

Made this sweet little horsey lovey for a friend's daughter. She hasn't seen it yet, but I'm fairly confident that she won't be interested in surfing my site in between toddles, chasing the cats and climbing the furniture.

What Do You Know About Stone?

Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Crown (c) National Geographic

Throughout the ages, genuine stone has been highly prized for its beauty, uniqueness and rarity.  Genuine stone has been used to denote wealth and power in everything from goblets and bowls to monuments and temples. Genuine gemstones and crystals have been combined with metals to create crowns, jewelry, rosaries, even the Pope’s headdress, among others. Whether the ancients had any inkling of the energetic vibrations that stones inherently emit or not is actually irrelevant, they knew something empowered them with the presence of genuine stone. Even if the thought process stopped at the rarity and expense, they quickly capitalized on the perceived power that came along with genuine stones.
